The pink list now covers only seven countries, all in Central and South America. These are: Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.
Secretary of State Liz Truss said the amendment would allow people to "do non-public work".
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said renewed freedom would help raise prices throughout the United Kingdom.
"Restoring people's confidence in tourism is crucial to reviving our economy," he said.
"With smaller regulations and people moving forward, we will all continue to move forward by sharing our path to recovery."

Mark Tanzer, a leader in the ABTA tourism government, said the small pink list was a "real step forward" and now it was time for "first class in time" to book a foreign resort.
The government led by British Airways Sean Doyle said the United Kingdom would "benefit" from these changes.
