No power outage, Tata Power warns of unsolicited text message request: Union Minister RK Singh
The Minister of Energy also struck the government’s GAIL for “negligent actions”.
Union Minister RK Singh said there had been no power outages
He warned Tata Power and GAIL of "reckless conduct"
He said there would be no power outage in Delhi
New Delhi: One day after a review of a major coal shortage that shocked some residents, Union Energy Minister RK Singh rejected the livelihoods of any electricity crisis.
Singh chaired a meeting with officials of the Power Ministry, BSES, and Tata Power at his house on Sunday (October 10) about the shortage of coal in power plants.
The minister said he had warned Tata Power to move forward in the event of sending unsolicited messages of power shortages to customers. He also attacked the government's GAIL for "negligent actions".
“Actually, there has never been a time, or even a catastrophe. It has been replaced unnecessarily. I have warned Tata Power CEO about the move in the event that they send unsolicited SMS to customers that could cause panic. Messages assisted through GAIL and Tata Power are appropriate as acts of indifference, ”the Union Minister changed and was quoted as saying he made the announcement using ANI.
“The panic followed after GAIL sent the Bawana petrol station with the knowledge that it would block the supply of petrol two days after their accommodation had been depleted. I have asked the GAIL CMD, who participated in today's meeting, to keep the requirements, ”he said.
“I have even asked GAIL CMD to continue providing the most popular petrol station stations across the country. You trust me that parts will last. There has never been a shortage of fuel in the past, and it will not be seen in the future, ”he added.
Singh similarly said that Delhi had changed and was given the amount of desirable power and that it would last.
“We have a central coal station (power stations) that can last for more than four days. Property collections are filled daily. I am in contact (with the Minister of Coal and Mines' Union) Prehhadhadhi, ”he said.
This comes in the afternoon after the Department of Energy announced that a breakthrough within the financial system renewal after one second wave of COVID-19 had caused a dramatic explosion of energy demand and consumption.
The department also added guidelines in October for eight to make the best use of production stations in line with the requirements within the power grid.
