"Sometimes the best dough in the world is not people who bother me as much as that because of mutual respect. If I bend well, they will play me well. The people I worry about are people who are not worried about who I. The tailers that come and be afraid but destroy your characters, "he added.

Steyn has a large fan base in India too. He has played at the Indian Premier League (IPL) and has represented the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Deccan Chargers, and Gujarat Lions, and has 97 Wicket of 95 matches an average of 25.85. Besides the T20 League, he has also toured India with his national team.

Speaking of playing in India, he said:

"Indian crazy! This is the closest to feeling like a rock star. You are treated like Hollywood or Bollywood Star. Cricket is just crazy there. You go to the airport and you are bombarded, you go to practice and there are 10,000 people watching. Doubtful I will ever have That experience in my life again with whatever I did. "
