Assam allows offline classes from class 12 to PG level for partial vaccinated students

Although educational institutions have been allowed to reopen on September 1, there will be no teaching and learning activities until September 5.

 New Delhi:

The Disaster Management Authority Assam (ASDMA) has issued a new series of standard operating procedures (SOP) to contain the spread of Covid in the state. Relieving further sidewalks, the state government has enabled the reopening of educational institutions from September 1, for grade 12 to postgraduate level students, in areas outside the detention zone. However, to attend the physical class, students must be vaccinated against Covid-19, at least with the first dose.

Although educational institutions have been allowed to reopen on September 1, there will be no teaching-learning activities up to 5. The first three days are for teacher vaccination, students and staff staff will be continued on September 6.

12th grade students, who are under 18 years old and are not vaccinated must also be allowed to go to school, he said.

There should not be more than 30 students in the section, according to SOP. If necessary, more parts must be opened.

The following state government said the offline class would continue for students apart from those at the second second level (class 12), undergraduate and postgraduate.

The hostel can reopen only for students who are fully vaccinated in graduate, undergraduate and HS students, he said.

Physical classes for GNM, nursing and technical courses are also allowed to continue, with students, teachers and support staff who are vaccinated with at least one dose.
