Kolkata: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested 11 people in East Medinipur over violent incidents following elections in West Bengal earlier this year.
The employer said the problem was being investigated and that the conditions of the server were registered. Earlier in August this year, the Calcutta High Court ordered that the CBI be investigated for incidents of post-election violence in West Bengal.
The High Court also ordered the establishment of a Special Special Investigation Teams (SIT) for a criminal investigation. The inclusion of seven committee members in the manner of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) was foreshadowed in the aftermath of the post-election rallies and the approval of the CBI court.
Several incidents of violence were reported in several areas after the confirmation of the results of the by-elections in Parliament on May 2, and a four-member group was sent by Department of Home Affairs to visit areas affected by the violence.
