West Bengal suspends COVID degree Durga Puja, see general review
West Bengal authorities have positive action against COVID throughout Durga puja from October 10 to October 20.
Kolkata: West Bengal authorities on Saturday (October 9, 2021) introduced a similar relaxation of COVID measures throughout Durga puja. During the period from October 10 to October 20, all stores, restaurants and bars may continue to be open in accordance with the daily working hours. Also, past restrictions may be allowed in accordance with existing laws.
On Wednesday, the country issued serious recommendations for Durga Puja requesting that the pandals be kept open on all sides. Closed for cultural applications and the immersion ceremony in the country will no longer be held this year.
